VIVA, Virginia’s Academic Library Consortium, has joined the Eastern Academic Scholars’ Trust (EAST).
We are pleased to share with you the attached press release announcing the addition of 41 libraries from VIVA, Virginia’s Academic Library Consortium, as EAST members. Eleven of the libraries are joining as Retention Partners and we expect they will add significantly to the EAST collective collection as we undertake an analysis of their over 7 million monograph titles. The remaining 30 are joining as Consortia Retention Partners and will be participating in the EAST Lending Network making available their collections for inter-library lending to current EAST members. We will be updating your operational and ILL contacts with more details as we onboard these libraries in the coming months.
