EAST Welcomes University of Tennessee Libraries as Newest Member

July 17, 2025 – The Eastern Academic Scholars’ Trust (EAST) is pleased to announce the University of Tennessee Libraries as its newest member and its second in the State of Tennessee. The UT Libraries joins as a Supporting Partner, allowing access to the EAST Lending Network, which includes more than 170 libraries in the eastern United States. This network supports borrowing and lending via libraries’ standard interlibrary loan services.

Tina Baich, EAST Director, stated, “UT Libraries’ decision to join EAST as a Supporting Partner demonstrates the strength of the EAST collective collection and the importance of expanding the universe of resources available to local users through a trusted network of libraries.”
