The EAST Board of Directors is pleased to announce the results of recent elections for the Board of Directors and the Operations Committee and welcomes new and returning leaders.
The Board will welcome four new Directors in January, including Frances Maloy of Union College, Jennifer Resor-Whicker of Radford University, Josh Petrusa of Butler University, and Susan Myers of Spartanburg Methodist College. These four individuals bring a wealth of experience to the EAST Board of Directors and represent the geographic span of EAST.
The Operations Committee (OC) will welcome one new member and four returning members. Alison Boehme of Hanover College joins the Operations Committee representing the Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI), the consortium to most recently join EAST. Returning to the OC are Alison Armstrong of Radford University, John Myers of Union College, Steve Smith of University of Massachusetts, Boston, and Tiffany Russell of North Carolina A&T State University.
The EAST Board of Directors and Program Team extend their congratulations to all those elected.
At the same time, four Directors will be leaving the EAST Board at the end of 2025, including Katy O’Neill of Loyola Notre Dame Library, Marta Brunner of Skidmore College, Matthew Sheehy of Brandeis University, and Scott Warren of Syracuse University.
The EAST Board of Directors and Program Team are deeply grateful for the many years of service to EAST this group has given. All four helped to lead EAST through both the early days of being an independent non-profit organization and a significant staffing transition with the retirement of Program Director Emerita, Susan Stearns. Their leadership has been essential to the ongoing success of EAST.
