The EAST Member Meeting Planning Committee is soliciting proposals for 4-7 minute lightning talks to be presented at the annual member meeting to be held virtually on Oct 22nd, 9:30 am -12:00 pm ET (registration). Below are a few ideas for topics. These can simply be “how we did it at our library” presentations. The following are suggestions and not a definitive list.

- Special collections and retentions – why and how
- Shared print and the impact on resource sharing
- Taking the long term view of retention commitments
- Campus communications and advocacy on shared collections
- Controlled digital lending and shared print
- Weeding with shared print in mind
- Automating workflows around shared print retentions
