The EAST Member Meeting Planning Committee is soliciting proposals for 3-7 minute lightning talks to be presented at the annual member meeting to be held virtually on October 21st, 9:30 am -12:00 pm ET (registration). Below are a few ideas for topics. These can be simple “how we did it at our library” presentations or topics you’d like to discuss with other members, which could serve as the basis for a breakout session at the meeting.
The following are suggestions and not a definitive list.
- Innovations in collection analysis
- Dealing with deteriorating retained print titles
- Retention pain points
- What we’d like to see EAST do next
- Thinking about the 2031 retention renewal date
- Resource sharing and EAST
- Automating workflows around shared print retentions
Note that lightning talks will be followed by group discussion – open ended question topics welcome.
