Members of the EAST project team, our vendor, OCLC Sustainable Collection Services, and EAST member librarians, were pleased to be able to discuss the Eastern Academic Scholars’ Trust project at The Charleston Conference. Susan Stearns, Project Director, hosted a panel discussion with Matt Barnes, from OCLC SCS, Lorri Huddy from the CTW Consortium in Connecticut and Matthew Sheehy of Brandeis University, entitled “It’s 2031: Do you Know Where Your Scholarly Monographs Are?”. Slides from the panel are available here. The Conference also featured two shotgun sessions on EAST: Gwen Verkuilen-Chevalier from St. Anselm reported on the EAST validation sample study (slides here) and Anna Perricci discussed the EAST retention model (slides here).
